Pierre Constant is full-time professor of New Testament at the Toronto Baptist Seminary since 2003. Married and father of four (now adult) children, he and his wife and family worship and serve at the Église chrétienne du Plateau in Gatineau, Québec. On top of his regular teaching responsibilities, Pierre is involved in mentoring young adults, teaching and training university students, curriculum development, as well as preaching and teaching in a variety of settings and conferences in Canada and in Europe. He has written a 500-page workbook on the study of the Gospels entitled Survol des Évangiles, published by the Séminaire Baptiste Évangélique du Québec.
Pierre earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Ottawa University, a M.A. and a Ph.D. (New Testament Theology and Exegesis) from Trinity International University (also known as Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, Illinois). His dissertation was written on Psalm 118 and its use in Luke and Acts, under the supervision of D. A. Carson.
